2006 Comedy Classes Forming Now!

The Comix Cafe, located at 3450 Winton Place in Rochester, NY, 
is proud to announce the formation of the next session of it's highly successful series of comedy classes.

The classes, which have graduated several students into the world of professional standup comedy, are designed to instruct the novice on the basics of creating a standup comedy act. The principles that are covered include finding funny material that is original to the performer, writing shortcuts, performance tips, improvisational comedy, and a special session on the business of standup comedy. The classes are also invaluable to anyone who wants to incorporate humor into their sales presentations, ad copy, social life, or anywhere else that humor would be appropriate.

The classes will be taught by one of the areas top comics. The cost of registration for comedy classes is $200, with a 50% deposit of $100 required to hold a spot. Registration fee covers the cost of tuition and materials, and is nonrefundable. Due to the overwhelming response of our first class this year, registration will be limited.

In addition, each student will receive guaranteed stage time at a local open mike comedy night, and each student will participate in a graduation show
